Starting in the early 70s, Charlie and his older brother opened a service station on St Joseph Blvd. The old BP station was the start of his towing career, better known as Charlie's Towing Service. The one-man operation serviced Orleans and the surrounding area with his old trucks, helping people out. Whenever the phone rang, day or night, rain or snow, Charlie was always there. Over the years the company has had a few name changes from Charlie's Towing to Action Towing, then finally to Orleans Towing. Some fifty years later, the old lad is still at it. Orleans Towing continues to be a family affair, located on Page Road, as it has for the last 47 years, with Charlie's wife Sue doing dispatch and Charlie doing the calls. And now here they are, on the web!
